The Departures Club

Flight price alerts for the trip you actually want

Save an exact route, dates and maximum fare. We check every hour, then email you when a matching option appears. AI trip search is coming soon.

Card required. Trial available to eligible new annual members. Cancel before it ends to avoid a charge. Membership and flight tickets are separate purchases.

Keep one exact trip on your radar

A flight price alert helps when you know the route and dates you want but do not want to keep checking the price yourself. Blame the Fare keeps those details together in a Watch and checks the connected provider every hour.

For example: “Manchester to Lisbon, 15–19 October, nonstop, under $250 USD return.” Enter the exact route, dates and budget, then save it. This is a Watch example, not a fare offer.

  1. Describe the trip. Choose the exact origin, destination, dates and maximum return fare.
  2. Save the details. The Watch keeps the route, dates, stop limit and budget you chose.
  3. Save a Watch. Membership includes up to 50 saved trips with hourly background checks.
  4. Review a matching alert. Recheck the selected fare and book with the airline or booking site if it suits you.

When is a paid flight alert worth considering?

If you want to keep several flexible trip ideas under watch, compare the membership cost with the time you spend searching and the fares you would actually book. One useful alert can matter more than a long list of cheap flights that do not suit your schedule. There is no guaranteed saving.

If you already know the route you want, Google Flights may cover your needs: its price tracking supports specific dates and an “Any dates” option for a route. Google explains how its route and flight tracking works.

Blame the Fare brings the member deal feed and exact-trip Watches into one account. AI trip search for flexible briefs is coming soon. Use our guide to decide whether flight deal alerts are worth paying for.

Flight price alert questions

What is a flight price alert?

A flight price alert is a notification about a fare matching a trip you are tracking. Blame the Fare saves your exact route, dates and budget in a Watch, checks current provider fares, and emails you when an option qualifies. Prices may change before you book.

Can I track flexible dates and more than one airport?

AI trip search for flexible dates, airports and destinations is coming soon. The Watch form available now saves one exact origin, destination and date pair at a time.

How often are prices checked?

Departures Club membership includes hourly checks for up to 50 saved trips. The public UK deal feed is a separate daily snapshot. An hourly check does not guarantee a new fare or an email every hour; alerts depend on a matching result.

Is there a free trial?

Eligible new annual members can try The Departures Club for 7 days. A card is required. Your selected annual plan is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel beforehand. Review the current price and renewal terms at checkout.

Does membership include flight tickets?

No. Membership pays for the deal feed, saved-trip checks and alerts. You buy the flight separately from the airline or booking site. Confirm the final price, baggage, schedule and cancellation rules with that seller.

Which airports are covered?

Watches use the airport codes supported by the connected fare provider. The automatic public deal feed checks selected UK and US departure airports; it is not a worldwide deal feed. AI trip search is coming soon.
